I have had a couple questions about ms, and lag, so I thought I'd post some info here.
In rakion, there is a peer-to-peer connect, which means you are connecting to all the other people in the room. The main reason why rakion lags so much. MS literally measures the quality of your connection with another user. This is why your own ms doesn't show, because it is different from person to person.
IE: Person A has 85ms to me. Which means me and him have a fairly good connection. It also means, that I have 85ms to Person A. This is why it is pointless to ask what your ms is =). Now, say I have 305ms to Person B. That means I have a very poor connection to Person B. But that doesn't mean I lag. If you have a good connection to most of the people in the room, but a bad ms to one person, that means it is his connection that is the probelm.
In other games, such as Counterstrike and Battlefield and so-on and so-forth. Peer-to-Peer connection is not used. In those games you are connecting to the server, not the other people in the server. Which is why you can see your own ms, or latency, as its called there.

Yea, it can also be called ping. But that it the problem with this, its international, even though there are categories US is the most popular and there can be people from all over the place which can cause that. But yea, its not lag, its just that you cant connect very well to a certain user which is actually not just his fault but both of your faults because he will have the same ms on you as you have on him.

Is it possible that a router can cause enough lag to make you run like 1/2 or 3/4 the speed of a mage? or make the game run a bit slower than it should(frame wise)?

It is possible, although unlikely. Some routers are not very efficient and can cause this, or if you bought a new router you need to port forward the rakion port on it so that it will run more effeciently.

Thats frame lag I doubt it has anything to do with your connection, it would either be slow computer or video card.

Frame lagg is a combination of both Graphics Card and the Actual CPU its everything not just one

It can be both your connection and graphics/CPU. A friend of mine was having the same problem and forwarding the rakion port helped a lot. As for how to do it...depends on what kind of router you have. Go into the config for your router and find the Port Forwarding page (or sometimes named Gaming something). I don't remember what port you have to forward as I'm at work but when I get home I can get it from my router and let you know.
