Hero was quite possibly the worst movie i've ever seen in my life. After I watched it I tried to get a refund.

i agree that it was bad, but definitely not cute... at all. special effects were bad? i tend to disagree. first of all, most kung fu movies don't need too many special effects, and when they do need them, they tend to be amazing. i thought it was very impressive the stuff they did with the knives and bamboo pieces. that's about all the special effects they did, with the exception of a few more things that i forget b/c it's been a long time since i watched the movie.

I've seen two really good martial arts movies lately. 1. District B13, a french movie, but it was awesome. 2. Ong-Bak: The Thai Warrior.
Both of these were movies done with no ropes for the stunts, and all the stunts were dont awesomely. The story isnt too good for Ongbak, but just watching the stunts was cool.
